Looking for another Project Manager

I’m looking to hire some good PROJECT MANAGERS. I currently have one, but due to the fact that my projects are moving too slowly (I want to launch 250 sites by August, yes, of this year!) for my own good.

Have the following skills:

  • Good verbal skills (be able to hold a normal conversation on AIM too please)
  • Have AIM to keep in constant contact with me
  • Have a fairly good understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP and design work and programs
  • Have good standing contacts with coders, programmers and designers.
  • Be able to make decisions without consulting me (hopefully they’ll be the right ones!)
  • Work well under pressure
  • Be willing to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)
  • Create no bullshit project ETA’s — schedules from start to finish
  • Be loyal and trustworthy

I don’t think those are such bad terms to be hired. Comment to this post with your email address or AIM screen name for a quick interview. Be ready to show me your sites or projects you’ve managed. If you have any references to verify your claims or to prove what you’ve done in the past, please have those ready.

I’ll be posting this on other forums, as I need these spots filled asap. If you know of someone who would be good for the gig, let them know too.

Free Advice to Publishers

So here I am, with my own blog (about time right?), and I’ve decided to run it the way I’ve always thought a blog should be ran.. Instead of people constantly sending me emails and private messages about helping them out with their site, I am going to allow you, as a publisher looking to increase revenues, to post your problems here.

I’ll go through your site, the issues you may be having, and try to come up with a quick, no bullshit assesment of what you should do, in my opinion, to increase your CPM, CPC, and/or CPA revenues.

All I ask in return is that you link to my blog www.aojon.com from the site I’ve helped you with. There is no formal cost except the direct link. Thanks!

Blog Launched!

Just some quick news regarding this blog and what I hope it to be about.

First off, I just want to let everyone know, that I will continue blogging at WebsitePublisher, and posting at those forums as well. I also still visit SitePoint, but choose to limit my posting due to the crappy layout changes they’ve been making. It’s just a personal preference, so it’s not such a big deal.

Second, I’d like to say that if you have a question or comment for me, this place is by far your best bet to reach me, so please stop sending me private messages, especially on SitePoint, because they’ll just be deleted (unless you’re offering me cash or to be the godfather of your new kid).

Last but not least, I hope to spend lots of time posting on here about all sorts of topics that I have taken a lot of shit for on other forums. Think of this place as a real hangout for webmasters. If you feel the need to use profanity, go for it. There is no censorship on that. I’m not saying to swear for the sake of swearing, but I don’t agree with other forums and blogs when they have that whole “try not to piss anyone off and be super pleasant” rule going. Sorry boys and girls, but that just doesn’t fly with me. We are all mature adults (or try to be most of the time), so you can comment on whatever the hell you want, just keep it relevant to the topic, and try not to threaten any security or government people, because I really don’t feel like being watched by the feds…

That’s all for now, check back soon and maybe something new will be here waiting for you. I think this blog is setup for RSS feeds, so add it to your already overpopulated list of favorites.

Oh yeah, I meant to add, if you have a blog or site that target webmasters, you may go ahead and use the RSS feed on your site to give it that extra oomph! Just so long as people somehow know that the origin of the article/blog was mine first. You thieving bastards!!

Alright, now quit procrastinating over here and get to work!
