Looking for another Project Manager

I’m looking to hire some good PROJECT MANAGERS. I currently have one, but due to the fact that my projects are moving too slowly (I want to launch 250 sites by August, yes, of this year!) for my own good.

Have the following skills:

  • Good verbal skills (be able to hold a normal conversation on AIM too please)
  • Have AIM to keep in constant contact with me
  • Have a fairly good understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP and design work and programs
  • Have good standing contacts with coders, programmers and designers.
  • Be able to make decisions without consulting me (hopefully they’ll be the right ones!)
  • Work well under pressure
  • Be willing to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)
  • Create no bullshit project ETA’s — schedules from start to finish
  • Be loyal and trustworthy

I don’t think those are such bad terms to be hired. Comment to this post with your email address or AIM screen name for a quick interview. Be ready to show me your sites or projects you’ve managed. If you have any references to verify your claims or to prove what you’ve done in the past, please have those ready.

I’ll be posting this on other forums, as I need these spots filled asap. If you know of someone who would be good for the gig, let them know too.

I would have been sure you’d have had more responses to this by now! I’m not sure I’m quite qualified (though probably), but I’m looking for something to fill up my time so I’ll bite.

I don’t really want to post my AIM screenname in public, but please email me and we can set up a time to chat (I’m logged into AIM 24/7, though not always there–however, usually, I have very little resembling a social life ;)).

    Edward Sun,
Just a word of advice — I recommend YOU take the initiative and tell him reason he should choose you. By asking Mook to take some time out of his busy schedule to find reasons you’re a worthy candidate is not the best approach if you’re looking to get the job.

I’m not sure if this is what Mook is looking for, but I would personally send him a cover page and concise portfolio without the bullshit. The more time it takes for him to understand why you’re a candidate, the less likely you’ll receive the job.

    My two cents,
    Dan

Dan.. I like your style! Are you going to be submitting an application?

    Hi Jon,
I really appreciate you replying to my post.

As much as I would love to work for you, I’m afraid I don’t fit the criteria. I assume this is a full time job and as a college student I’m not sure whether or not I’d be able to devote as much time as you would require.

However, I’m referring a friend of mine and recommended he reply. I’m quite certain he surpasses your expectations and he’ll be an excellent candidate.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me on AIM (ConceptualxMind). Perhaps I’ll be able to fit this job into my schedule.

Thanks for your time and interest,
    Dan

I must be blind. How exactly does one contact you? I see no email or AIM. I prefer not to PM through a forum. Thats so impersonal.

Anyway. Time is money. Feel free to respond.
