Just a small post for you kids..

I hear A LOT of rumors, everyday, for the last 2+ years for our industry. Most of them are crap. Many of them are just network drama that I care about less and less. But then there are those few times where people contact me or approach me at a conference and ask me what has to be the strangest questions ever. (well, not as strange as the ones I’d get in the adult industry, but that’s another story for another time)

I still have never found the source of these rumors, and I really want to, because it’s the type where the person always heard it from a friend, who claims to have heard it from a very reliable source… but no one can ever provide this magical ‘reliable source or contact’, hahaha!

Okay, so the rumors I get are the following (and these are just the more memorable ones). I’ve collected them in a neat little text file, and just heard another outrageous one, so I really want to get to the bottom of these, and find out who the hell comes up with this shit???

Rumors about Jon Fisher and/or WickedFire as of 2006-2008:

Jon owns Copeac.

Answer: Hahahaha!! People think this because we gave Copeac a TON of exposure in early-late 2006 when WickedFire first came about. Why? Because they were the first network to see us as more than just a shits and giggles forum, and they reaped the benefits. I think they went from 400′ish active affiliates to over 8,000 in under 10 months, all from WickedFire. Booyah! And no, we didn’t really see much from it. Hell, we didn’t even stick our referral code into it, which we probably should have, but we were more about letting our members bank and growing the community. So that’s the story. No bullshit. Ask them if you like.

Jon is a co-founder in Copeac.

Answer: See the answer above. I would never want to be an owner or co-founder of any ad network. I am seriously just not interested whatsoever. The idea was mulled around many times, but when it comes down to it, its just not what I want to do with my life. The headaches are not for me. I could care less about the cash or extra-drama it would bring. Plus it would put me and WickedFire into a very bias position, because there has always been one law we’ve followed… STAY NEUTRAL NO MATTER WHAT. And its been tough as hell, lemme tell ya. But we’ve never once broken that law, regardless of how bad or good the results would turn out.

Jon is Alex’s (AzoogleAds co-founder) younger brother.

Answer: This is stupid. Alex is from the Ukraine and Toronto. I’ve never even been to either places in my life. My family doesn’t even have roots in either of those countries/provinces! His last name and mine are DIFFERENT!! We do have one major thing in common… We are both Jewish and not religious/practicing. So if that’s your “reliable source of information” well, then you’re just an idiot.

Jon is Mike Krongel’s (Copeac Owner) cousin/brother.

Answer: Yes. Its true. Hahahaha!! No. Its not true. Just like with the Alex rumor, this is fucking retarded. Aside for the fact that we were both raised in Brooklyn, and are both Jews, that’s about the only thing we share. And women of course, but those are minor details. Seriously though.. again with the last name. Don’t you people pay attention to these incredibly obvious pieces of evidence?!

Jon owns ClickBank. = Probably the funniest one!

Answer: Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. That’s soooo accurate eh? Because for the last two years I’ve been bashing the shit out of ebooks and ClickBank over and over and over again. I really do want to meet the retard who thought this one up and just smack him in the face for being so dumb.

Jon co-owns NeverBlue.

Answer: I think people just run around naming every network out there that HASN’T sued me or threatened to, and assumes I either have a stake in its ownership or I’m related to the people in charge. The answer is no for this one too.

Jon’s last name is not Fisher, its something Italian.

Answer: Yes. Its DaVinci. The origin of this rumor also needs a smack in the face for coming up with something so stupid.

Jon is a  co-owner at CPA Empire.

Answer: Yep! Got me again! Wow! Good job guys.

Jon is Shawn Collins’ business partner, why do you think he always promotes their show and gives out all of those paid passes for free?? Think about it.

Answer: I’ve thought about it, and decided that this is another completely bogus and just absolutely retarded thing to say. Please just keep this one to yourself next time, because you’re just a stupid snatch.

Jon and Shoemoney are business partners.

Answer: At first I laughed pretty hard at this one. But then reality set in and I ended up hearing about it a few more times from unrelated people. So I guess this one needs to be debunked eh? Well, why don’t you ask Jeremy. He’d probably explain it better. Actually, I’ll take a stab at it. It’s a complex answer, so please try to keep up: NO.

Jon doesn’t really own WickedFire OR its really just a front for his other blackhat projects.

Answer: Yep, another fantastic one for ya. I don’t own WickedFire. I just spent the last 2 years, from the start of it to now working my ass off for it, investing a ton of blood and sweat (I don’t cry) and my own cash into it…. for kicks. Good job Captain Obvious whomever you are.

Jon doesn’t even exist, its a fake name. Trust me my friend has proof even.

Answer: I’m a ghost. Well, white enough to be one I guess. I’m going to haunt you when you’re masturbating! Bwahaha!

Jon never had the Florida Attorney Generals guys at his house, he made it up for attention and linkbait.

Answer: This was probably the biggest one ever that also became the most public. Its not only been settled, but was proved from day one. I won’t lie. I was intimidated and nervous as hell at first, and they knew it, and that my friends is a rarity in itself! But I’m not one to lie about something or keep it hidden, so that’s why this one bugged me the most of them all. Because so many members on WickedFire who are also good friends went on a bashing spree. Granted we were all still naive at the time to the whole Chris Lingle episode in which he tried to start a civil war amongst the strongest members at the time against me and the forum. But then we found out he lied about everything, including having cancer, and went on to defraud a few of his biggest supporters. So in the end it was a major lesson that a lot of us learned from this one “rumor” and the only true one on the list.

WickedFire is really owned by DigitalPoint.

Answer: I’m not even going to bother with the silliness from this one.

Jon is a racist and a Nazi/white supremesist.

Answer: I’m Jewish. My grandparents survived the Holocaust. Nuff said.

Jon hates ALL Indian people.

Answer: Not true at all. I have so many biz friends whom are Indian. I also give SO much work to that country.. granted I do like them a lot for their cheap labor, but that’s been rising lately. I poke fun at everyone, every religion, every race, everything. If you’re too sensitive to handle it… then don’t fucking read it. No one is forcing you to read and comment on anything anywhere.. So why don’t you just grow the hell up and not let the sticks and stones break your bones.

Jon is in the Jewish mafia or his family has ties to it.

Answer: Hahahahaha!! Ohh yeah! That’s right! I totally forgot about that. Damn, well, I’ll try to remember it the next time you owe me money and I threaten to stick your head in a vice. Fuck you, pay me!

Jon is /used to be a famous hacker.

Answer: I can’t code for shit. I know I’m really good with research and reverse engineering aspects related to topics I’m very familiar with, but when it comes to coding/dev/design of almost any sort outside CSS, HTML and some JS/XSS. Aside from that, its all Chinese to me.

Someone in Jon’s family works for the FBI or FTC. He knows so much about [info/names removed] and gets info on it faster than the networks do!!

Answer: Yep. The mob and the feds. We go hand in hand. You should see how much fun it is at my house during the holidays when the whole family gets together! No handcuffs, warrants, machine guns, or bodyguards allowed. Strict rules, I know.

Well, that’s the bulk of the list. Some of them are just stupid, but I added them just to show you how rediculous people can be. So what I really hope to gain out of the post are two things:

1- Who the fuck comes up with this and actually makes other people believe these things are true without ANY proof?? Reliable sources eh? Well, who are they? I want to meet them. I think I deserve the right to it, being that they seem to know about these crazy things before I do! lol

2- Just stop already. As amusing as it is to hear these things every now and then I’m getting sick of it already, because some of them are starting to fuck things up for me. You only make yourself look like an imbecile without proof when I tell the person who asks if its true — NO. Then what? 

If you people really think I’m behind some master plan to take over the world, well, you’re right, but its my own plan, not part of any think tank or NWO organization (although I’d totally join given the opportunity!). There is more than enough real drama going on in the industry. The last thing we need is more fake crap like this. Get a life, and go waste your time jerking off or doing work. Leave me the hell out of it.
