Just thought I’d chime in with some good news for anyone who is held down by the dominance of AdSense. Well, I think that would make most of us. Google has become a behmoth over the last few years, and because of it, they just keep tightening up their rules and grip on every website owner in the land. Well, I for one am sick of it. Now, I’m not saying AdSense is bad, from a publisher/affiliate point of view, because they aren’t. But their rules are pretty retarded.

Yes Google we know. You guys dominate the market share for search, contextual advertising, advertising on the internet too, blah blah blah. Alright, enough of that already.

So the reason I’m actually blogging about something normal for a change is because in the up and coming months I’m going to be launching a service for UK and EU traffic only. Yeah, sorry my fellow Americans, but you guys have YPN, and the international community is fuckin huge and they rarely get anything fun thrown in their direction to beta. Not to mention there are just way too many rules on US advertisers now, so when those soften up, we’ll include US traffic into the program.

What do you guys get? Well, how about the only rule of this new text ads project is that no fraudulent traffic (click bot, botnets, clicking your own ad 50 times or using proxies to try and make it look like someone else is clicking it, trust me, we know how to catch that) is allowed. That’s about it. No other rules. Everything from that point on is allowed and accepted.

The point is that I want this to be as transparent and flexible with both the webmasters’ and the advertisers’ best interests constantly kept in focus. Where we can all make money. You make bank. The advertiser makes bank. I make bank. And Google loses their stranglehold on everyone, and also loses market share!

Just a few things to look forward to on the new text ad network:

1. Arbitrage traffic (buy low and sell high!) is ALLOWED.
2. Get paid via PayPal, e-gold or ACH/Wire.
3. BH SEO traffic accepted! I know people treat you guys like dirt and give you a bad rep, but I also know there is nothing wrong with your traffic, so screw the other guys and stop having to explain yourself to everyone else (unlike in the US, everything banned there is legal in the UK/EU — more advertisers paying a hell of a lot more per click!).
4. Get paid per click. We only care about clean and real traffic, and you get paid in Euros, GBP or USD.
5. 100% customizable. Break out of the barrier of boxed in or bordered ads. Customizing no longer means just limited to changing the colors. You can change the shape of the text ads, put approved images next to them for higher CTR’s, put them inside videos, etc..
6. Webmasters and site owners from around the world are allowed to participate, but we ONLY want traffic from the UK, and Western European countries right now.
7. Bid price tools that tell you EXACTLY how much you get paid. So if the cpc says “$2.22″ per click, that’s what you get, $2.22, no more trying to factor in your percentages and our cut and blah blah.
8. Stats you can read and learn from. Hate using other add-on services like heatmaps or ROI converters, well now, you’re in luck, because those tools all come standard in our reporting module. Including automated tips on how to change around your content and templates so that you can increase your CTR’s.
9. Use XML feeds to display results, either in 1 or 2 click format, it’s your choice! Display search results for the advertisers inside text ads, instead of making people search first and then click, they can click straight away and you get credited right away.
10. Domainer traffic welcomed. Stop getting only $0.08 a click from all of the parking page services, come over to a place where you’re appreciated and respected.

These are just a few of the almost 80 different things it’s going to be showcasing. We’re not after advertisers either. This all falls under an exclusive and pretty damn coveted partnership agreement with one of Google’s competitors, and because we’ll be able to govern everything ourselves, we are building it the way it should be built. With the WEBMASTER’s and ADVERTISER’s goals in mind. Although, this may be bad news for Google, it’s great news for everyone else. While I still may use Google Adsense or Adwords as a backup for a long time (hell, even MSN and Yahoo use Adwords to push their services) my longterm goal for this project is to be responsible for taking away at least a 10% market share from the Google monster in terms of contextual advertising space.

So if you’ve been wrongfully banned (if you’re not a scammer that is) or cheated on your payouts or earnings by AdSense, and you still think you deserve another chance, or you just want to earn a hell of a lot more and be able to display ads from other networks and customizable ads of different shapes, sizes and in more unique areas, come over here to the dark side. It’s much nicer here, plus we pay more.

Note: WE are not going to be paying or accepting any webmasters/affiliates. Instead we’ll be granting licenses to co-brand/whitelabel our services to providers. More information will become available. Current launch date still unknown, but we expect to be in beta until Winter 2008.
