YPN Announces Direct Deposit & No More Net 45!!
I just got an email from YPN announcing that you no longer have to wait Net 45 for payments. Now, if you add your bank account information, they’ll do a direct deposit, directly into your bank account on the 26th of every month, instead of the 10th of the following month. This is great news, because like all publishers, and affiliates, the worst part of seeing your stats is knowing that you have to wait a whole 45 days until you get paid. This means more cash to spend on advertising (if you do so) and quicker ROI at that.
Here’s a copy of the email I got:
Dear Jon,
We’ve just made receiving your Yahoo! Publisher Network earnings quicker and easier than ever, with the introduction of a Direct Deposit option for all publisher accounts.
As with our pay-by-check option, you’ll still need to accrue at least $100 in earnings before payment is made. However, if you’re signed up for direct deposit, we will credit your bank account on the 26th of each month, rather than by the 10th of the following month, meaning that you’ll receive your earnings approximately 15 days sooner!
To sign up for direct deposit, follow these four simple steps:
- Log in to your publisher account.
- Click on the Account Information tab.
- Click “Payment Optionsâ€.
- Select “Direct Deposit†and follow the instructions provided.
Please note that it could take up to ten business days to process your request and begin the direct deposit payments. Even if you immediately sign up for the direct deposit option, April earnings for all publishers will be made by check. If you wish to receive your May earnings via direct deposit, please update your account as soon as possible. If you have any questions about this feature, you may contact us via the Support Request Form, which is accessed by clicking on the Support Center link at the bottom of most pages inside your account.
Sincerely,
The Yahoo! Publisher Network Team
Y is for Yahoo being so awesome! Take notice Google..

Now if they can just figure out their US traffic only issue they will be good to go.
get better every day.. wondering what G will do :p
I am waiting for the day that they will accept affiliates worldwide without hesitation & ‘targeting’ is still part of their program!!
YPN plans on coming out of beta in Fall 2006, so they may start accepting publishers from at least Canada and the UK and other European countries by then. I would think that when they accept publishers from other countries, they would also increase their targeting categories for their properties in those countries too.
